Grant guidelines

Applications are by invitation only. We do not accept unsolicited proposals or requests for funding.

Macdoch Foundation achieves its’ purpose by working in three areas:
  • Agriculture & Food Systems

  • Climate Change-related Transitions

  • Healthy Communities

All grant applications need to demonstrate how the funding request aligns with the our strategy.

Process

Applicants will be invited to submit an initial Expression of Interest via our online application portal. Successful applicants will then be asked to progress to the next stage and submit a full application.

The entire application process occurs online. Macdoch Foundation will only review applications submitted via our online portal.

Assessment

Grant applications are assessed by the staff and approved by the Board of Macdoch Foundation, which meets quarterly.

Applicants must be registered charities and demonstrate that their general purposes align with our values and strategy.

If the applicant is not a charity, the Board will consider whether the proposed use of the funds meets the terms of our governing documents and the requirements of the Charities Act (Cth) 2013.

Grant Agreement

Following the Board meeting, grant applicants will be advised of the outcome of their application by phone or email.

Successful applicants will receive grant documentation for completion, including a grant agreement.

The grant agreement outlines the grant’s payment schedule and reporting requirements.

Macdoch Foundation does not accept unsolicited requests for funding.
