Our Commitment to Governance

- Conflicts of Interest Policy & Procedure
- Related Party Transactions Policy & Procedure
- Investment Policy
- Grants Policy
Conflicts of Interest
Our Conflicts of Interest Policy & Procedure provides guidance to Directors, Officers and Committee members in complying with their obligations to take all reasonable steps to avoid actual or perceived conflicts of interest.
Related Party Transactions
Our Related Party Transactions Policy & Procedures statement ensures relevant transactions are handled in compliance with good governance, requiring us always to assess whether any related party transaction is in the Foundation’s best interests.
Investments
The Foundation’s investments are overseen by an Investment Committee, consisting of a sub-committee of the Board, the Chief Executive Officer, the Secretary, and independent investment advisors. The Foundation’s funds are managed by an institutional fund manager.
Our Investment Committee meets four times a year. Our Investment Policy Statement is reviewed annually.
Grants Policy
Our Grants Policy & Procedure provides clear guidelines to assist both staff and Directors with all grant-making decisions. This policy outlines the activities or projects we are unable to fund and sets out the criteria for assessing grant applications.
The Board of the Foundation meets four times a year.
